I'm a hobby photographer based in Vienna, Austria. I like taking pictures of birds, bugs and beetles, beautiful places and anything that fits my current obsession.

I started taking photography seriously some time in 2013. During a bored day at work, I had somehow landed on a review for a digital camera and since I love learning, decided to learn about ISO, aperture and shutter. As is the case with most things, it didn't turn out to be as daunting as it felt initially, so I decided to get the camera from that review - the Nikon Coolpix P7700. That was my first camera that allowed for any control over how the picture was taken. After a few years with it, i decided to level up to a DSLR and got the Nikon D5500, my first camera with interchangeable lenses. A few years after that, I got the Nikon D850, which is my main camera to this day. Asides from that, I also shoot with my phones, of course, the Ricoh GRII and nowadays GRIII, and a Mamiya RZ67 ProII and Minolta Autocord film cameras.
I mostly like taking pictures of animals and nice places when I'm travelling. I've always had a fascination for dark skies and stars, so I also love when I get a clear night and enough time to play around.
