The Haller Mauern at Night

I drove for three hours, hiked for another three, and then camped a night in the mountains to take this picture. It shows the Haller Mauern mountain range, seen from the Kalkalpen national park in Austria. It is one of my favourite viewpoints on a tour I've done dozens of times now, and it's a highlight, just during the day. When I saw on my PlanIt! app that the Milky Way Centre was going to be right behind them, with a crytal clear night coming up, I just had to make that effort. And it was entirely worth it.
