Ancient Agora of Athens

The ancient Agora of Athens is a stunning site right at the foot of the Acropolis. Its main attractions are certainly the temple of Hephaistos, which stands prominently over the northern part of the site, and the reconstructed Agora building serving as the museum in the southern part.

The museum itself is fairly small, but it has some interesting everyday objects, like a collection of finds from a cobbler's workshop or various cooking implements.
